HOUSTON – A Nueces County contractor is alleged to have failed to repair a Harris County home and honor its warranties.

Jesse Corona filed a complaint on Aug. 1 in the Harris County District Court against Thomas Kiser, doing business as Extreme Foundation Repair, alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2016, he engaged defendant to lift a portion of the foundation of his home. As a result of defendant's alleged negligence, he claims his electrical line was disconnected and a plumbing line was separated, causing wet carpet that needed to be replaced.

The suit states Kiser issued a lifetime transferrable warranty for the foundation work and that he made several appointments to fix the issues but canceled them and has not returned calls, texts or emails.

The plaintiff holds Kiser, doing business as Extreme Foundation Repair, responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to perform the services contracted for and failed to honor the warranty.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages and all legal fees, costs and expenses, with interest and such other and further relief to which he may be entitled. He is represented by himself and Anthony Clarkson of The Corona Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
