HOUSTON – A local water restoration service is alleged to have caused a female employee’s hand injury.

In a lawsuit filed on Aug. 6 in the Harris County 152nd District Court, Olga Lainez says Bionic Emergency Services LLC directed her on Dec. 27, 2016 to unload a heavy object from a vehicle.

The suit claims the plaintiff performed the task “without proper assistance because the defendant was not staffed without enough personnel to carry the heavy object nor was there any equipment to facilitate lifting the object.”

The weight of the object purportedly caused it to fall on Lainez’s hand.

Consequently, she seeks unspecified monetary damages.

Abraham Garcia of the KGS Law Group in Houston is representing Lainez.
