HOUSTON – A woman alleges she was injured at a Houston restaurant when she slipped while walking to her table.

Dorea Bratcher filed a complaint on Aug. 15 in the Harris County District Court against Dairy Ashford Custard LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 30, she was injured at defendant's restaurant when she slipped and fell because of a slick substance on the floor. She alleges she suffered serious and permanent injuries as a result of the fall.

The plaintiff holds Dairy Ashford Custard LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to inspect the premises, failed to take reasonable measures to safeguard their invitees and failed to inform invitees of the existing danger.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary damages of more than $100,000 and all other and further relief to which she is justly entitled. She is represented by A. Clement Wehner and John Arthur Daspit of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
