Houston Brilliant Baths alleged to have failed to do work on Baytown home

Lawsuits
Contract 05

HOUSTON – A Baytown homeowner alleges a Pasadena contractor did not build a bathroom on her property per the terms of their contract.

Joyce High filed a complaint on Aug. 20 in the Harris County District Court against Reynaldo Rudolfo Hernandez, individually and doing business as Houston Brilliant Baths, alleging breach of contract, common law fraud and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 17, 2017, she contracted defendant to construct an additional bathroom to her residence for $26,200. After depositing $16,000 with the defendant, she alleges the work has yet to begin.

The plaintiff holds Hernandez, individually and doing business as Houston Brilliant Baths, responsible because the defendants allegedly have failed and refused to complete the work promised in the contract.

The plaintiff seeks pre- and post-judgment interest and all other damages to which she is legally entitled. She is represented by David A. Spradlin of Law Offices of David A. Spradlin in Spring.
