HOUSTON – A guest is seeking damages from Harris County auto dealership after she slipped on a wet floor in the restroom.

Norma Serenil filed a complaint on July 27 in the Harris County District Court against World Class Automotive Group LP, doing business as Planet Ford, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 15, she was injured at defendant's premises when she slipped on a wet spot in the restroom. She alleges she sustained injuries to her back, head, knees and legs as a result.

The plaintiff holds World Class Automotive Group LP responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to inspect the premises to discover the slippery floor, failed to make it safe and failed to inform of the danger posed by the wet floor.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which he may be justly entitled. She is represented by John Arthur Daspit and Mohammad Abdel-Rahman of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
