GALVESTON – An invitee at a beach house in Galveston alleges that she was injured because of a dangerous condition at the property.

Jan Toland filed a complaint on Sept. 6 in the Galveston County District Court against David Taylor Parrish II and Ryson Real Estate Holdings alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 9, 2017, she was guest invitee at defendants' beach house in Galveston and was injured when she slipped and fell going down the steps.

The plaintiff holds Parrish II and Ryson Real Estate Holdings responsible because the defendants allegedly negligently permitted the dangerous condition to exist on the premises for a prolonged period of time without making a legitimate effort to correct it.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $100,000 but less than $200,000 and such other relief as the court may allow. She is represented by Law Offices of Jon L. Anderson of Law Offices of Jon L. Anderson in Lufkin.
