HOUSTON – Two individuals allege they were injured by the fraudulent acts of an auction company.

Thomas Kolodziej and Jordan Bennett filed a complaint on Sept. 7 in the Harris County District Court against PCI Auctions LLC alleging fraudulent inducement, common law fraud and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Feb. 27, 2014, Kolodziej entered into a contract with the defendant to operate the Southwest Region PCI Action services with Bennett as a third-party beneficiary. The plaintiffs allege the defendant failed to disclose its business practices and that the plaintiffs would not have purchased the business had they known it was operated illegally.

The plaintiffs allege they were damaged after they spent $25,000 on a licensing fee for a business "that was being conducted in violation of the FTC Franchise Rule," the suit states.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek monetary relief of more than $100,000 but less than $200,000 and such other and further relief to which they are entitled. They are represented by Adam Allen of The Allen Law Firm in Houston.
