HOUSTON – A local law firm asserts that a client in Tomball owes it more than $60,000.
In a lawsuit filed on Sept. 10 in the Harris County 61st District Court, the Steele Law Group, PLLC demands James Duke VanLue pay $62,470.43 for handling “multiple independent legal matters.”
SLG says VanLue agreed to pay for the services provided, but the defendant reneged after its representation was terminated. Court papers further accuse VanLue of breach of contract.
The plaintiff is representing itself.
