HOUSTON – A man alleges he was injured at a Harris County grocery store when he slipped on a wet floor in the restroom.

Daunshay Travis filed a complaint on Sept. 10 in the Harris County District Court against HEB Grocery Co. LP alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 18, he was injured while shopping at the defendant's HEB store in Houston when he slipped on a wet floor in the restroom. He alleges he sustained serious and permanent injuries resulting in medical expenses, pain, physical impairment and disfigurement and lost wages.

The plaintiff holds HEB Grocery Co. LP responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn of the dangerous condition and failed to maintain the premises.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which he may be justly entitled. He is represented by Samy Diab and John Arthur Daspit of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
