GALVESTON – An assisted living facility in Friendswood has been sued after a visitor experienced a slip and fall last year.

Susan Woods brought a lawsuit against Friendship Haven Nursing Centers, Ltd. on Sept. 24 in the Galveston County Court at Law No. 1.

Woods recalls visiting her mother at the defendant’s premises located at 1500 Sunset Dr. when she slipped “on a worn area on the floor.”

Her injury required “several months” of medical treatment, the suit says.

Consequently, Woods seeks unspecified monetary damages.

She is represented by the Law Office of Robert D. Clements, Jr. & Assoc. in Alvin.
