HOUSTON – A Starr County resident alleges he was injured while working on pipeline project because of a lack of proper equipment.

Noe Reyes filed a complaint on Sept. 25 in the Harris County District Court against Anaconda LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 6 he was a laborer working for Willow Creek Cos. at defendant's worksite in West Texas when a pipe that was being bent ejected from the equipment being used and struck him, causing injuries.

The plaintiff holds Anaconda LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to provide proper equipment and failed to provide safe instruction and guidance.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $1 million and any additional relief to which he is entitled. He is represented by Daniel Johnson and Juan C. Garcia of Johnson Garcia LLP in Houston.
