Restoration Services sued for more than $1 million, after falling concrete block allegedly hits worker

HOUSTON — Fred Pete Seidel Jr. filed a complaint on Oct. 3, in the Harris County District Court, against Restoration Services Inc., alleging that the roofing company failed to follow safety standards and policies on the job site.

He is seeking more than $1 million in damages after suffering serious injuries when he allegedly was hit by a concrete block while on second-floor scaffolding at the IL Palazzo Condominium.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 10, 2016, he was a foreman for MRH services with the defendant when a block of concrete fell on his back and head, knocking him to the ground. 

He suffered injuries to his head, neck, spine and body in general. 

The plaintiff holds Restoration Services Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to properly train and supervise its employees,.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of over $1 million and such other and further relief to which he may be justly entitled. He is represented by Michael Patrick Doyle of Doyle Trial Lawyers in Houston.
