GALVESTON – A Texas marine surveyor claims that he was injured while switching ships last year.

Dion Windsor blames Harbor Offshore Marine, Inc.; Petrocare Marine Consultants, Inc.; and Maran Tankers Management, Inc. for his fall onto the deck of the OSV Excalibur on Dec. 22, 2017 in a lawsuit filed in the Galveston County 56th District Court on Oct. 17.

Windsor recalls his involvement in a personnel basket transfer from the M/V Maran Apollo to the Excalibur, stating that it occurred “in rough seas” off Galveston. He says that he fell several feet and sustained injuries to his back, spine, and general body.

The vessels reportedly belonged to the defendants.

Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages.

He is represented by Stevenson & Murray in Houston and The Crew Law Firm, P.C. in League City.
