Man suffers injuries while performing bee removal job, sues clients

Lawsuits

HOUSTON – A Harris County man has pursued legal action in response to falling off a ladder while performing a bee removal job at a property near San Antonio.

Carlos Hernandez’s lawsuit, which was filed on Oct. 16 in the Harris County 165th District Court, claims that Van Beck Lake House, LLC and Andrew Grams instructed him to use the ladder in question to remove a hive outside of a house in Seguin despite the plaintiff suggesting the task be done from the inside because the hive was “too high.”

While using the ladder, the suit says, Hernandez fell from the top of the ladder “due to a loose and defective ladder rung.”

Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by Rick Molina of Houston.
