HOUSTON – An invitee at a Houston business alleges a dangerous condition there caused her to trip and fall.

Delphina Torres filed a complaint on Oct. 26 in the Harris County District Court against Pramukhji Enterprise Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 24, 2017, she was injured at defendant's Sunmart No. 156 when she tripped and fell to a dangerous condition. She alleges she sustained severe injuries that resulted in pain, mental anguish, physical impairment, disfigurement and loss of enjoyment of life.

The plaintiff holds Pramukhji Enterprise Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make the dangerous condition safe and failed to give adequate warning of its existence.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which she may be justly entitled. She is represented by Michael E. Pierce and Ashley L. Barill of Pierce Skrabanek PLLC in Houston.
