HOUSTON – A Washington County resident alleges she was injured at a Brenham apartment complex because a piece of metal caused her to trip and fall.

Patricia Rash filed a complaint on Nov. 7 in the Harris County District Court against Bluffview Villas of Brenham LP alleging negligence and premises liability.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 21, the plaintiff was walking through defendant's Bluffview Villas of Brenham Apartments parking lot to her vehicle when she tripped and fell over a piece of metal protruding from the sidewalk. She alleges she sustained injuries and was caused to suffer pain, mental anguish, disfigurement, loss of enjoyment of life and medical and pharmaceutical expenses as a result of the fall.

The plaintiff holds Bluffview Villas of Brenham LP responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain the premises in a safe condition and failed to correct the condition.
