Patient alleges Hand and Wrist Center of Houston failed to diagnose wrist injury

HOUSTON – A Harris County man alleges a Houston doctor failed to diagnose and treat his wrist injury.

Michael Compton filed a complaint on Nov. 8 in the Harris County District Court against Hand and Wrist Center of Houston PA and Mark H. Henry, MD alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was diagnosed by Henry has having a brace injury and did no further testing on his wrist. He alleges he did not notice any improvement and sought a second opinion and was diagnosed with a scapholunate ligament tear and needed two surgeries.

The plaintiff holds Hand and Wrist Center of Houston PA and Henry responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to evaluate his diagnosis with appropriate tests and failed to give appropriate care of diagnosis.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in an amount within the jurisdictional limits of the court, interest, costs and such other and further relief to which he may be entitled. He is represented by George K. Farah and Nathan E. Inurria of Guerra & Farah PLLC in Houston.
