HOUSTON – A customer alleges she was not warned of a dangerous condition that caused her to fall at a Houston mall.

Karla List filed a complaint on Nov. 20 in the Harris County District Court against PlazAmericas Mall Texas LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 30, she was walking to the exit at defendant's mall on Bellaire Boulevard in Houston when she slipped and fell to the ground. She alleges she suffered severe injuries and other damages.

The plaintiff holds PlazAmericas Mall Texas LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to inspect the premises where the dangerous condition exited, failed to correct the same and failed to provide adequate notice or warning of the existing danger.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of no more than $100,000 and such other and further relief to which she is entitled. She is represented by Cesar E. Amador and John A. Daspit of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
