HOUSTON – A Houston business alleges it sustained damages because of liquid from a neighboring property.
Caskets by Paradise LLC filed a complaint on Nov. 19 in the Harris County District Court against DaVita PDI North Houston, et al. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff's business is next door to DaVita PDI North Houston. The suit states on March 5, 2017, liquid from the defendant's property flowed into the plaintiff's premises and caused damages.
The plaintiff holds DaVita PDI North Houston, et al. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to properly monitor operations at their business and failed to properly train and supervise their employees.
The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which plaintiff may be justly entitled. It is represented by Christopher D. Wilsher in Houston.
