HOUSTON – A professional painting company and a digital marketplace specializing in home services have been sued over an alleged home invasion, recent Harris County District Court records show.

Asserting he was robbed and assault at his residence last Aug. 27, Steve Matzke pins the incident on Hues & Coats Painting Co., LLC and HomeAdvisor, Inc. in a lawsuit filed on Dec. 11 in the Harris County 281st District Court.

HomeAdvisor is reported to have matched Matzke with Hues while the suit states that an employee of the latter defendant committed the acts in question.

Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages.

He is represented by the Sloan Law Firm, P.C. in Houston.
