HOUSTON – The law firm Arnold & Itkin LLP in Houston has filed a state district lawsuit on behalf of two Texas residents who claim that their son drowned last month in a local apartment complex’s swimming pool.

Edward Range, III and Sharmone Hoskins blame the death of Edward Range, IV on Roscoe Properties, Inc. and Roscoe Properties GP, LLC, the owners of the Timber Run Apartments located at 13000 Woodforest Blvd., in the suit filed on Dec. 11 in the Harris County 61st District Court.

Court papers allege that the younger Range perished because of a lack of lifeguards and adequate safety equipment.

Consequently, the plaintiffs seek unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.
