GALVESTON – A Galveston County man alleges he was injured while working for a home improvement store while moving plywood.

John Daily filed a complaint on Dec. 11 in the Galveston County District Court against Lowe's Cos. Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 27, 2018, he was working for defendant Lowe’s store in Texas City and was injured while moving plywood as instructed by his manager. He alleges he sustained serious injuries resulting in medical expenses, pain, suffering, mental anguish and lost wages.

The plaintiff holds Lowe's Cos. Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide adequate assistance or supervision to the work being performed at the time of the incident.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of no more than $100,000. He is represented by Robert Morse of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
