HOUSTON – A Harris County woman is suing her apartment complex after her possessions reportedly went missing.

My Chau Vu filed a lawsuit against Pinpoint Heights at Westchase LLC in the Harris County 157th District Court on Dec. 17.

Vu claims that an employee of the defendant entered her unit without permission or notice last Sept. 18. According to the plaintiff, she had her laptop computer, two pieces of jewelry, and cash stolen.

Court papers say that the complex experienced a rash of burglaries but “failed to take adequate measures to secure the property.”

Consequently, Vu seeks approximately $50,000 in damages.

She is represented by Thomas C. Stephenson of the law firm Khuu & Associates in Houston.
