HOUSTON – A Houston man alleges he was injured at his workplace while cleaning the bathroom.

Miguel Barrera Roman filed a complaint on Dec. 20 in the Harris County District Court against Star Pizza LLP and Star Pizza Management Corp. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 18, 2017, he was working at the defendants' business premises when he was seriously injured while cleaning the bathroom with bleach. He alleges the defendants failed to warn him that the bathroom had been treated with Drano the night before and the chemical mixture caused injuries.

The plaintiff holds Star Pizza LLP and Star Pizza Management Corp. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to provide a reasonably safe workplace and failed to warn of the hazards of his employment.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which he may be justly entitled. He is represented by Cristobal M. Galindo of Cristobal M. Galindo PC in Houston.
