Passenger claims Turkish Airlines flight attendant stepped on foot on 'multiple occasions'

Lawsuits

HOUSTON – A Fort Bend County woman is suing Turk Hava Yollari, A.O., doing business as Turkish Airlines, after sustaining a foot injury during a flight earlier this year.

Lobna Elkhayyat filed a lawsuit on Dec. 21 in the Harris County 11th District Court, alleging that one of the defendant’s flight attendants stepped on her foot on “multiple occasions” while she was seated during a Mar. 30 flight between Houston and Istanbul.

Court papers assert that the subject event “constitute(s) an accident that took place on board the aircraft,” stating it was “unexpected, unusual, and external” to Elkhayyat.

Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

She is represented by Alex W. Horton of The Krist Law Firm, P.C. in Houston.
