HOUSTON – A landscaper alleges that he was electrocuted on the job more than a year ago and has sued his employer, recent Harris County District Court records.

In court filings dated Dec. 28, 2018, Sebastian Zavala-Morales accuses Ultrascape Landscaping, Inc. of providing him a poorly maintained saw to cut down a palm tree with.

“Due to the poorly maintained equipment, pieces of the tree fell onto the power lines, shocking the plaintiff and severely burning him,” the lawsuit states.

Consequently, the complainant seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by Loren G. Klitsas of the law firm Klitsas & Vercher, P.C. in Houston.
