HOUSTON – A Harris County woman is seeking $100,000 or less from a Kingwood business after falling on a substance allegedly left on the floor.

Anna Silva filed a complaint on Jan. 2 in the Harris County District Court against Randall's Food & Drugs LLP alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 27, 2017, she was walking at defendant's store in Kingwood when she slipped and fell because of a substance on the floor. She alleges she sustained injuries as a result of the fall.

The plaintiff holds Randall's Food & Drugs LLP responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to properly clean and maintain the floors and failed to warn of the condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of $100,000 or less, exclusive of interest and costs. She is represented by Kevin Bush and Jonathan Simon of Simon Law Firm in Houston.
