HOUSTON – A Fort Bend County resident alleges she was injured by a speaker cover and is seeking damages from a company.

Kristina Rivera filed a complaint on Jan. 8 in the Harris County District Court against CLS Technology alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 11, 2018, the defendant's employee/agent caused a speaker cover to fall on her at a Houston location, resulting in serious injuries.

The plaintiff holds CLS Technology responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to properly train its agent/employee, failed to maintain a proper lookout and failed to warn of the condition.

The plaintiff seeks damages in an amount within the jurisdictional limits of the court, with interest, costs and such other and further relief to which she may be justly entitled. She is represented by James M. Lassiter III of Lassiter Law Firm in Houston.
