HOUSTON – A Harris County man is suing a home building supply business after “numerous” pieces of granite fell on top of him.

Christian Fontenot brought a personal injury lawsuit against Home Avenue L.L.C., doing business as HomeCraft Remodel Supply, on Jan. 22 in the Harris County 215th District Court.

Fontenot claims that the Nov. 28, 2018 incident occurred when an employee of the defendant was operating a forklift to load a piece of granite into his vehicle. The worker’s purported failure to use “reasonable care” caused the subject event.

Consequently, Fontenot seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

White Harrison Trial Lawyers in Houston is representing the plaintiff.
