HOUSTON – A purported slip and fall at a downtown Houston restaurant last year forms the basis of a Brazos County woman’s personal injury lawsuit.

Recent Harris County District Court records show that Brenda Bevers brought the suit against Landry’s Management L.P., doing business as Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse, and Landry’s G.P., Inc. on Jan. 22 in the 80th District Court.

According to Bevers, she “unexpectedly encountered an unreasonably dangerous condition in the form of slippery liquid near the interior of the entrance and in close proximity to the aquarium” at Vic & Anthony’s on Mar. 3, 2018.

The plaintiff slipped, fell, and “awkwardly” landed on her left arm, the original petition says.

The complaint faults the defendants for not placing warning signs or cones.

Consequently, Bevers seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

She is represented by the law firm Waltman & Grisham in College Station.
