HOUSTON – A Spring couple is suing a wine bar in The Woodlands on allegations some members of the establishment’s staff violently assaulted the husband, recent Harris County District Court records show.

Evan and Erica Cicchinelli filed a lawsuit against Crush Enterprises LLC, doing business as Crush Wine Bar, on Jan. 24 in the Harris County 215th District Court.

According to the plaintiffs, employees Michael Meaux, Tyler Osborn, and Nicholas Habetz attacked Evan Cicchinelli when he and a then-pregnant Erica Cicchinelli were leaving the business on Feb. 19, 2017.

The assault was “unjustified,” court papers state.

The purported assailants join their employer as co-defendants in the litigation.

Consequently, the complainants seek unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

They are represented by Everett Day of the law firm Everett Day & Associates, PLLC in Houston.
