GALVESTON – A Jefferson County heat exchanger fabrication and maintenance company alleges a Galveston County company failed to pay it for materials it supplied.

Ohmstede LTD filed a complaint on Jan. 15 in the Galveston County District Court against Plant Process Equipment Inc. alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between Aug. 29 and Sept. 28, 2018, it supplied materials to the defendant on credit. After all just and lawful offsets and credits, the amount of $1.2 million allegedly remains due and unpaid.

The plaintiff holds Plant Process Equipment Inc. responsible because despite demand for payments, the defendant allegedly failed and refused to pay plaintiff for the materials it supplied.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $1 million and all other relief which it may show itself to be justly entitled. It is represented by William B. Westcott and Lauren Scroggs of Andrews Myers PC in Houston.
