HOUSTON – A woman alleges she was injured in a fall at a Harris County property.

Carmen M. Caldas filed a complaint on Jan. 22 in the Harris County District Court against KIPP West alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 18, 2017, she was walking at defendant's premises when she fell, injuring her knee, palms and neck.

The plaintiff holds KIPP West responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to inspect and maintain the flooring area and failed to warn of the unsafe condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages, with interest, costs and such other and further relief to which she may be justly entitled at law or in equity. She is represented by Sabina M. Karim of Law Office of Sabina Karim in Houston.
