HOUSTON – A worker’s fall from a roof at a construction site in Oklahoma almost two years ago is the subject of a state district lawsuit.

Harris County District Court records show that Abner Pastor is suing Guardian Transition, Inc., doing business as GF Protection, Inc., doing business as Guardian Fall Safety; K-Strong; Karam Industries; and P.N. International over the Mar. 12, 2017 incident in which a harness he was wearing allegedly failed.

The piece of equipment was designed, manufactured, and marketed by the defendants, according to the original petition filed on Jan. 28 in the Harris County 151st District Court.

Pastor says that he had underwent numerous surgeries as a result of the harness failure.

Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by the law firm Miller Weisbrod, LLP in Dallas.
