HOUSTON – A Harris County woman claims in a state district lawsuit that she was struck by a motorist two years ago near San Jacinto College South campus.

Christy Joy Thorson brought the suit against Sabrina Kelley Roschbach in the Harris County 11th District Court on Jan. 29.

According to Thorson, she was walking in the crosswalk at El Franco Lee Boulevard on Jan. 31, 2017 when Roschbach crashed into her and struck her leg.

The suit faults the defendant for failing to yield the right-of-way.

Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages.

She is represented by Claude H. Davis, III of the law firm Davis & Newsome, P.C. in Houston.
