GALVESTON – A Santa Fe woman alleges her money was wrongfully taken by two contractors and they failed to perform under the contract.

Jan A. Neeley filed a complaint on Feb. 12 in the Galveston County District Court against Dion Trevino and Leonard Trevino alleging negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on October 2018, she contracted the defendants to perform certain repairs, remodeling and construction on her residence in Santa Fe. The plaintiff alleges the defendants induced her to advance funds with no intention of performing the services and their partial and incomplete performance was defective. The plaintiff alleges she has been damaged in the amount of $59,800.

The plaintiff holds Dion Trevino and Leonard Trevino responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to meet their obligations under the agreement, failed to return her money and made false material representations.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not over $1 million and all the other relief to which the she may be justly entitled. She is represented by Curt M. Langley of Crinion Davis & Richardson LLP in Houston.
