HOUSTON – Alleging that they were injured during their visit to a Brazilian restaurant in The Woodlands more than a year ago, Harris County residents Natalie Phillips and Christopher Harvey have filed a state district lawsuit.

The petitioners’ lawsuit against Fogo De Chao, Inc., which was filed on Feb. 14 in the Harris County 80th District Court, is in response to a purported slip and fall at the eatery on Oct. 20, 2017.

According to court documents, Phillips slipped and fell “on a greasy substance that had accumulated on the floor” while Harvey was harmed as he tried to catch her.

Fogo De Chao is faulted for failing to “clean the grease on its floor.”

Consequently, the complainants seek unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

They are represented by the law firm DeHoyos & Connolly, PLLC in Houston.
