HOUSTON – Attorneys with Crockett Law, P.C. in Houston have filed a lawsuit on behalf of a woman who alleges that she was raped while working at a local gentlemen’s club more than a year ago, recent Harris County District Court records show.

The petitioner – identified as by her initials K.B. – is suing Embassy, Inc., doing business as Houston Dolls Cabaret, over the June 2, 2017 incident in question in the 234th District Court.

According to K.B., a purported club regular named Dave had her consume alcohol with him though she was a few years below the legal drinking age. She recalls then “feeling sick and (losing) consciousness,” stating that Dave escorted her to one of the back rooms and proceeded to her rape her.

K.B., who was 18 years old at the time, allegedly suffered a seizure during the subject event, to which court filings dated Feb. 18 explain drew the attention of some individuals at the establishment. No first responders were contacted as Dave was allowed to continue drinking, the original petition says.

The complainant adds that she suffers post-traumatic stress syndrome because of her ordeal.

Consequently, K.B. seeks unspecified monetary damages.
