HOUSTON – A Harris County woman’s visit to a northwest Houston shopping center on one of the coldest days in the region last year reportedly resulted in a slip and fall.

Recent Harris County District Court records show that Nina Vanderford brought a lawsuit against Vintage Marketplace RV LLC on Mar. 4 in the 152nd District Court.

According to Vanderford’s complaint, she was on the defendant’s premises located at 10115 Louetta Rd. in Houston on Jan. 17, 2018 when she slipped on “an ice patch” on the porch belonging to an unspecified business.

The suit asserts that the respondent knew about the icy condition on the porch but failed to properly address it.

Consequently, Vanderford seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

Abraham Garcia of the KGS Law Group in Houston is representing the complainant.
