Hyatt guest alleges negligence caused fall at hotel

HOUSTON — A hotel guest is suing Hyatt, alleging she was caused to slip and fall at the defendant's hotel at the Galleria in Houston.

Michelle Sandberg filed a complaint Feb. 22 in Harris County District Court against Aimbridge Hospitality LLC, doing business as Aimbridge Hospitality, Aimbridge Hospitality Holdings LLC, Hyatt Place Houston/Galleria, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Songy Highroads LLC, Jonera and the unknown employer of Jonera, alleging negligence and failure to prevent an injury from taking place. 

According to the complaint, on July 19, 2017 Sandberg was a guest at Hyatt Place Houston Galleria, 5252 W. Alabama, Houston. The suit says due to a wet floor that recently was mopped by Jenera, Sandeberg slipped and fell, causing injuries to her knee, right hip and spine.

Sandberg seeks damages, attorney fees and court costs. She is represented by attorney Tommy L. Yeats of Moore Landrey LLP in Beaumont.
