Employee alleges Home Depot negligence led to shoulder injury

HOUSTON — A Harris County man is suing Home Depot, alleging he was injured while trying to complete work at a Houston store.

Kenneth Nwosa filed a complaint Feb. 20 in Harris County Circuit Court against Home Depot Inc., alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 20, 2017, Nwosa was working for Home Depot at its store 68000 W. Sam Houston Parkway, Houston. The plaintiff alleges he severely injured his left shoulder when asked to lift paint and carry it up a ladder repeatedly without being provided the proper training or supervision.

Nwosa seeks trial by jury, monetary relief between $100,000 and $200,000, pre-and post-judgment interest and all other just relief. He is represented by attorney Brenty M. Cordell of Smith & Hassler in Houston.
