HOUSTON – The law firm Morrow & Sheppard LLP in Houston has filed a state district lawsuit on behalf of a woman who claims injuries from a canine attack last month, recent Harris County District Court records show.
Cong He’s suit, which was filed against Creative Management Co. on Mar. 11 in the 55th District Court, alleges that He was walking at Lake Crest Townhomes when a pit bull “attacked and mauled” her.
The pit bull reportedly belonged to a resident of the complex named Parham Montazerolghaem. Montazerolghaem is listed as a co-defendant in the litigation.
The dog in question had “vicious propensities,” and the defendants “were specifically warned that (it) was a danger” to which they did nothing, according to court filings.
Consequently, He seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.
