HOUSTON — A Tarrant County man is suing a Houston company, alleging he was caused to fall due to a dangerous situation.

Darrell Wright filed a complaint March 11 in Harris County District Court against Womble Company Inc., alleging negligence.

The suit says on Feb. 26, 2018, Wright was at Womble property, 5875 Kelly St., Houston. As the plaintiff was walking through the hallway, the suit says, his shirt caught on an exposed nail, causing Wright to slip and fall.

Wright says he sustained injuries to his shoulder and other parts of his body and that there were no warnings about the present danger.

Wright seeks between $200,000 and $1 million in damages, trial by jury and other fit relief. He is represented by attorney Jared W Capps of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
