HOUSTON — A Harris County man is suing a food store, alleging he was injured when part of a ceiling fell on him.

Corey Williams filed a complaint March 13 in Harris County District Court against Sabir Business Inc., doing business as M.C. Food Store, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Williams was an invitee of M.C. Food Store, 9803 Mills Road, Houston. The plaintiff says he was injured on his head, neck, back and other body parts when a portion of the ceiling fell and struck him. Williams says M.C. Food should have warned of the danger.

Williams seeks monetary relief between $200,000 and $1 million, trial by jury, costs of court and all other fit relief. He is represented by attorney Mohammad Abdel-Rahman of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
