HOUSTON – Byron Barclay of The Barclay Law Firm in Houston filed a March 19 lawsuit on behalf of a woman who alleges she was sexually assaulted at a massage spa near Rice University two months ago, according to Harris County District Court records.
The anonymous woman says in the six-page suit that William Goldman Ross, an employee of the Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa, at 5213 Kelvin St., committed the assault Jan. 29.
“The plaintiff did not invite, induce, ratify, implicitly consent or comply with this sexual contact,” the original petition said. “To the contrary, the plaintiff was mortified and disgusted at Ross’ actions. She felt paralyzed in disbelief at this violation by a licensed massage therapist.”
The plaintiff seeks monetary damages and a jury trial.
