Employee blames towing company for assault

HOUSTON — An employee is suing a Houston towing company, alleging he was assaulted while on the defendant's premises.

Andra Franklin filed a complaint March 25 in Harris County District Court against Echo Auto Towing Inc., David Bannett and Scott Lambaria, alleging negligence.

Franklin alleges he was working at the Echo Auto property, 7700 Fulton St., Houston, on March 27, 2017. The suit says Franklin was severely and physically assaulted, causing a concussion and neck damage and leading to physical pain and loss of earnings

Franklin seeks trial by jury, monetary relief up to $900,000, reasonable and necessary medical expenses, costs of court and all other just relief. He is represented by attorney James P. Grantham of James P. Grantham Firm PLLC in Houston.
