Visitor alleges she was injured by falling door in public restroom

HOUSTON — A visitor is suing owners of a Houston building, alleging she was injured when a bathroom stall door fell and struck her.

Sandra Sanders filed a complaint March 27 in Harris County District Court against Granite Properties Inc. and Houston GPI Limited, alleging negligence.

Accordiing to the complaint, Sanders was in the Granite Properties restroom April 27, 2017 at 2925 Briarpark Drive, Houston. The suit says the door to the restroom stall fell and struck the plaintiff, causing her to suffer injuries to her back, neck head, shoulders, arms, legs and other body parts.

Sanders seeks trial by jury, monetary relief of more than $1 million, interest, costs of court and all other just relief. She is represented by attorney Sean O'Rourke of Simon & O'Rourke Law Firm in Webster.
