HOUSTON – Harris County residents Miguel and Alejandra Olmos have filed a lawsuit in response to an alleged late 2017 two-vehicle accident with a taxicab.

In Harris County 270th District Court filings dated Apr. 3, the plaintiffs claim that Ismail Adam Abdalla, doing business as I & M Cab Services, caused the Dec. 19, 2017 collision.

Abdalla purportedly crashed his vehicle in the back of the complainants’ 2008 G35 Infiniti in the 600 block of the Southwest Freeway. The suit says that the defendant had been speeding.

“The force of the impact caused them to slam against the stalled traffic in front of them and caused severe bodily injury to Miguel and Alejandra Olmos,” the original petition says.

Insisting that they did nothing to bring forth the subject event, the plaintiffs seek unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

They are represented by the law firm VB Attorneys in Houston.
