GALVESTON – Patrick O’Hara of the O’Hara Law Firm in Houston has filed a lawsuit on behalf of a Galveston County woman who alleges a canine bit her in various parts of her body.

Recent Galveston County District Court records show that Molly Kistler is pursuing legal action against Marvin and Bridgette Rodrigue. Kistler’s suit was filed on Apr. 3 in the 122nd District Court.

According to Kistler, the defendants’ dog bit her on her hand, left breast, and right leg. She claims that the canine “was unrestrained on or near the defendants’ property in Friendswood.”

“The defendants failed to properly train the dog, restrain the dog, or warn or protect people from the dangerous dog,” the original petition says.

Kistler seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.
