Employee blames company for workplace injuries

HOUSTON — A Harris County man is suing a company, alleging he was hit by an object being carried by another employee, causing the plaintiff to suffer injuries.

Rodolfo Rodriguez Rivera filed a complaint April 4 in the Harris County District Court against Total Site Inc., alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Rivera was working as a welder in Houston on April 23, 2018, welding near a track hoe. The suit states a Total Site employee hit the plaintiff with an object, which resulted in painfully debilitating injuries to Rivera as well as pain and mental anguish, disfigurement and loss of earning capacity.

Rivera seeks trial by jury, damages between $200,000 and $1 million, costs of court, damages suffered and all other just relief. He is represented by attorneys Langdon Smith and Frank W. Robertson of Jim S. Adler & Associates in Houston.
